Anna vigoursly flipped the worn pages of the Book of Shadows. There just had to be a way, some spell or potion that could fix all this. What was the good of being a witch if magic couldn't help you solve your problems? She had to find some way to send these future kids back, along with her other selves. Then she had to focus on Carnell and his issues.
If her mother could handle an Apocolypse, a house of kids, two sisters, a husband, and making dinner all in one day, then she could do this. She had to.

"Anna Halliwell when will you learn that there isn't always a magical cure for everything?" Holly asked.
She stood with her arms folded leaning against the doorjamb to the attic, watching her best friend. After a moment, she dropped her arms to her sides and ventured in. She stopped at the podium and regarded her.
"Whatever answer you're looking for, you wont find it in this book. It lies in your heart. The other Anna's will disappear when they're meant to. That's how the spell works. And as for the kids...that's not just your problem to bear. Jennifer is my daughter.
So there's a reason they came back, bigger than just you. Carnell is...well, that is a problem. But again not a magical one. Your mom and dad overcame much worse than this without having to call on magic to solve their problems. You can do that too. You and him just need to rekindle your relationship. Cut out all the drama and magic. Be a couple," she said.

Anna watched her friend for a long moment. She knew she was right. She closed the heavy cover and leaned against the podium, a smile creeping on her face.
"Since when do you go all Whitelighter on me?" she asked.

"Since when do you go all Whitelighter on me?"
Holly laughed, slipping her arm over Anna's shoulder.
"I'm not going all Whitelighter on you. I'm going best friend on you. I worry about you and him sometimes. You guys need to rethink you're whole relationship. It's what I've been doing actually,"

Anna regarded her friend a moment.
"Uh oh...trouble in paradise?" she asked as the pair headed over to the old dusty couch and sat down.

"Uh oh...trouble in paradise?"
Holly let out a small sigh, her hazel gaze dropping the worn wooden floor. "It's not trouble really...and I wouldn't exactly call it a paradise anymore. It's just..." she looked at her friend. "It's kinda like you and Carnell, sort of, in a way. I mean, there's no romance anymore. Not sure if there ever was. And then Jennifer shows up, which confuses things even more cause that shows that we're 'meant to be' as they say...I dunno Anna, I'm just so confused," she explained, tucking a honey blonde curl behind her ear.
"I dunno what's up with him. He's so tightly wound as it is, and he's inherited the Halliwell Worry Wort gene, which makes it even worse. And then Jennifer comes and he doesn't hardly say anything. I dont get it. I mean, he would normally at least freak out about changing the future too much. But there's just...nothing. He's like, half here. I love him, but this is ridiculous..." she said.

Anna bit her lip thoughtfully, her eyes searching for an answer. "Hmm...you're right, that's not like him. I dunno what's up with him Holly, but I'll do my best to find out. I know he loves you, with all his heart. He always has I guess. But sometimes it's easier to talk to family about problems. My Aunt Paige still comes to my mom and Aunt Phoebe instead of Uncle Henry. I'll try talking to him, see if I cant find something out," she said, giving her friend a hug.

"...I'll try talking to him, see if I cant find something out,"
Holly's hazel eyes lit up. "Really? Thanks so much Anna!" she cried, returning the hug. She watched in excitement as her best friend left the attic. Anna would talk to him. She would make everything better. It was all going to be okay.
