Shadow had orbed into the living room of the Halliwell manor, not sure yet what he was supposed to do, but it was an order from an elder that he learned not to refuse. Besides, that elder was very nice to him, why would he want to refuse such an honor. His deep blue gaze ran around the room for a moment, if anyone was here, they'd notice him in a heartbeat.
He wasn't much for a whitelighter, well, his looks wasn't anyway. His dark black hair had yellow and blue streaks in it. His clothes consisted of black baggy pants and a red shirt with a black, zipped up jacket over it. His many piercings in his ears glittered softly in the soft light coming from one of the lights in the room. He sighed softly as he waited for anyone to come down. He really wasn't looking forward to telling the Halliwells why he was here, but he had to tell them, otherwise they'd make it difficult for his job to be accomplished.
Shadow slowly walked through to the next room in the house hold, making his way to the kitchen. He was told that Piper Halliwell usually spent a good amount of time there. His gaze ran across the kitchen before he walked out. The room was empty. After a little more time of waiting, he headed up to the attic of the manor. Now simply flipping through the Book of Shadows with nothing else better to do.

Anna had picked up the crumpled piece of paper Carnell had dropped and went into her room for a long period of time. She cried and cried and cried, unable to do anything else. Then she realized she was a Halliwell. Halliwells do NOT sit there and cry over spilt demons. No matter who they were. Would her mother sit here and whine about it? No. She'd fight.
Anna felt like an idiot; she knew her family was right, that Carnell was just trying to get close so he could take them out and steal their Book. She was NOT about to let that happen. Over her dead body. With a new determination taking her over, she exited her room, shoving the paper into the back pocket of her jeans, not bothering to read it.
Taking the stairs two at a time, she quickly reached the attic and stopped dead in the doorway. Some Emo guy was at the Book. Looking through it.
"Hey! Who the hell are you and WHAT do you think you're doing?!" she demanded.
She debated whether or not to approach him. She flexed her fingers at her sides, ready to counter any attack he may throw at her.

Shadow's gaze left the Book of Shadows and to the new arrival. He smiled gently. Now I'm getting somewhere. He simply watched the girl and listened to her words, which seemed annoyed and in slight pain, something that was very faint. Very faint.
"Hey! Who the hell are you and WHAT do you think you're doing?!"
Shadow lifted his head for a brief second before dropping his gaze back to the Book, flipping the page once again. "If I were you, I'd more then likely first ask, who sent me and not who I am." He flipped the next page, "You may try to attack me, but I must inform you, your efforts will be wasted, for I'm already dead." He had hoped the girl would have enough brains to figure that out. Not many witches or demons just say 'I'm already dead', only whitelighters do.

"Which Elder sent you then? Oh...wait...let me guess...Leo?" she asked, slowly stepping towards him and crossing her arms over her chest.
She cocked her hip to one side and arched an eyebrow at him. She had her mother's temper, that was for sure. She didn't need this guy to tell her who sent him. She KNEW it was Leo. Trying to be a 'good dad' and 'watch over her'. This completely annoyed her. It was no secret Anna wasn't fond of her father.

"Which Elder sent you then? Oh...wait...let me gues...Leo?"
Shadow sighed softly as his gaze left the Book and to the girl in front of him. "Yes, Leo sent me. It may be much of a surprise, but I'm a whitelighter, though I don't look it." Shadow sidestepped around the Book and to a chair to his left, "He also informed me that his dear daughter, Anna, wasn't going to make my job easy. I can make the assumption that you are Anna, can I not?" He stood to the left of her, he didn't go within a few feet of her, he has heard of Halliwell tempers and Leo warned him to have cautions, his daughter had inherited his wife's temper.
Shadow's gaze lingered on the girl before he closed his eyes, something ringed in his ears. Leo. He sighed softly and shook his head, what Leo was telling him he had already figured out. "Your father sent me to keep a better eye on you. I'm the youngest, so far, to be a whitelighter and I don't get too many charges, so your father saw me as a good opportunity and besides that fact, I'm closer to your age.."

Anna laughed sarcastically, tossing her head to get the hair out of her face.
"Wow...after all these years, Leo is actually TRYING to be a FATHER? Wow. I didnt know he had it in him. I can see you're a very young Whitelighter. Well, I guess I have no choice but to accept it. So maybe you can help me. I'm going after Carnell...or, Kelar rather," she said, crossing over to the Book and flipping the worn pages.
"He used to be Kelar but then supposedly his demon half was vanquished and now he's back," she explained.

"He used to be Kelar but then supposedly his demon half was vanquished and now he's back."
Shadow raised an eyebrow, "And here I thought your next question would consist of asking my name. You trust easily, dear Anna." He walked over to the book, standing on the opposite side. His gaze scanning the book, "Kelar you said? I heard he is an old demon. I'm old as well, but not as old as him. And since my exterior is of a young teen, not much information of demons reach my ears. I'm not seen as intelligent among us whitelighters." He closed his eyes, obviously deep in thought, his mind racking itself for any information, but none came to him.
"If you would like, dear Anna, I will go ask the Elders of him? Or you could just settle with us putting our heads together and not ask for your father's help. Which ever is your wish." Shadow muttered softly as his deep blue gaze searched the Book's open face once again.

"No, I dont want to involve Leo. I'm a big witch. I can handle this. Hell hath no fury like a Halliwell scorned, right?" she asked, giggling slightly as her own brown eyed gaze scanned the page.
"There's a potion here, but no spell. But I could whip one up, and this potion seems fairly easy. How good are your cooking skills?" she asked, her gaze shooting to him.

Shadow's gaze rose to Anna's, "Fairly well."
Strange, the girl still doesn't wish to know my name...
His gaze left her's and went back to the Book, "Do you have these ingredients, or will some searching and buying be involved?" He questioned softly.

"Do you have these ingredients, or will some searching and buying be involved?"
Anna was scribbling down the ingredients onto a notepad they kept in the attic and ripped the paper off, quickly reading over it.
"I'm pretty sure we have these...what did you say your name was?" she asked, motioning for him to follow her downstairs.
"I'm sorry, there's just a lot going on right now and my brain's kinda all over the place,"

Shadow smiled gently, "It's quite alright. Leo had said that it would be harder to get to you. It was surprisingly easy.." He followed her small gesture to leave the attic and head for the kitchen.
"My name is Shadow Leonhart." He muttered softly. He never really liked telling other's his name, he always got strange looks, but nothing could be done about it. He couldn't just change his name. Could he? Shadow shook his head, why would he want to, deep down, he knew he loved the name.

"My name is Shadow Leonhart."
She tilted her head to the side and glanced at him thoughtfully.
"Shadow? Hmm...that's different, especially for a Whitelighter...but I like it," she said with a smile as they reached the foyer.
"Okay, apparently we MAY need a piece of his flesh...depending on how potent the natural ingredients are...that part could be tricky..." she murmured, entering the kitchen.
Anna, like her mother, wasted no time. Instantly, pots and ingredients covered the kitchen island as she bustled around, throwing various herbs and spices into the mix.
"Mandrake root...mustardseed...wow...eye of newt...that's a new one," she giggled.

Shadow watched her in silence, leaning lazily against one of the counters. His eyes closed as he thought of a way to get the flesh that they may need. His arms crossed over his chest. He opened his eyes slowly, his gaze now following Anna around the kitchen, "What powers do you possess, dear Anna?" He questioned softly, his voice barely above a whisper. He was so used to being up with the elders and their silent talks that he forgot that he may need to raise his voice a bit to let the mortal world hear him speak.
Shadow slowly pushed off the counter and walked to the small island in the middle of the kitchen. His gaze now on the potion that she was concocting. His mind half deep in thought and the other half listening for Anna's answer.

"What powers do you possess, dear Anna?"
She tossed in a handful of brown powder, causing some small tuffs of smoke to rise. It was on its way to completion.
"Um...I take after my mother. Aside from the whole Orbing thing, I can freeze," she explained.
"Dragon's blood," she murumured more to herself, putting some purple liquid into the potion using an eye dropper. The smoke was getting thicker; a good sign.

"Um...I take after my mother. Aside from the whole Orbing thing, I can freeze,"
Shadow nodded, "Then getting the flesh will be simple.." He muttered softly as he continued to watch her run around the kitchen to make the potion.
((bb soon, I've gots dinner.))
