"Look, we need to get down there right now." He argued back against them. "If we dont...we might not be able to get him back"

"Don't worry sweetie, we will think of something to get him back. But we can't just jump to the underworld without being prepared,"
Piper rested her head against her younger sister's shoulder and exhaled an exasperated sigh. She closed her honey eyes, a futile attempt to calm herself. She was going to have severe blood pressure issues if this stress was kept up. She opened her eyes and lifted her head, eyes falling to Phoebe.
"I know. I know all that. These kids think they know everything and think we need to rush around half cocked. They clearly forget how this family works. Research, then action. I'm not about to lose another family member cause of teenage arrogance," she said, stepping around the chunks of debris to the foyer.
"It doesnt take long to look at the Book. More often than not, it opens to the right page automatically," she called over her shoulder. "If you kids even bothered to USE the treasured family heirloom anymore, you'd remember that," she said, slightly spiteful.
It really bothered her that the next generation of her family completely dismissed the Book. If it werent for the old tome, they wouldn't have powers. And none of the kids would exist. Well, except Alex and Troy. Their father was human. But all of her and Phoebe's children came from a magical being. They should do well to remember that. But kids these days, always in a hurry, always wanting to get things done right away. They all needed to get reconnected with their roots. If Grams were still around, there'd be no way in HELL she'd let them forget that.

He looked at her in shock and then felt his temper flare up as he went on the defensive, over the years in his timeline he had learned to trust hardly anyone around him..let alone a woman. His own girl friend, Michelle Mason had turned on him and told the source where him and his friends had been hiding at, the result being that he had been the only survivor. Clenching his fists tightly, he shook his head no and then stepped backwards.
"I cant do that mom" He gave her a sad look. "I cant lose him like this, nor the future i was meant to have". Turning around, he stormed out of the house and then disappeared in a mixture of red and black flames.
