"I'm finaly back!". He looked around the jail cell he was in. "Well, ok maybe not entirely back, I still have about four months left in prison, but when I get out I...". He stood there and thought for a minute."I'll blow up Piper's kitchen!"

Piper Halliwell stepped lightly around the Underworld. Phoebe had had some premonition about this spot, some Innocent needed saving. They werent sure who though. She brushed back her long dark hair from her face and turned a dark corner. Only torches along the walls lit the way down the corridor were a shaft of light spilled onto the floor. She trudged on.

He looked to his left, there were two female demons keeping guard on him. "Heh...nows my chance to escape!" He reached for the pipe he had hidden under his bed, and slammed it against the wall, causing a big vibration. "Damn thats loud!" He screamed as the two demons began running off, apparantly these new groups of demons had super sensitive hearing. "Holy hell!!" He jumped back, there were two hell hounds snapping at him "WHAT THE FUCK...WHAT THE FUCK!?"
He kicked the dogs in the jaws then ran down the hall, hearing footsteps, he leaned against it, preparing to fight. "Get ready," he said under his breath

She had jumped, hearing an explosion and feeling a rather violent vibration. Next came the sounds of dogs. Her adrenaline rushing, she charged forward, hands extended. Through the exit were Hell Hounds and two female demons. Throwing her hands out wards she flexed her fingers. The women exploded. She mimicked the gesture and one of the dogs too disappeared with a bang.
"What the hell is going on in here?!" she called, her brown eyes searching the vastness for signs of an Innocent.
"Get ready..."
Someone was mumbling under their breath. The witch whirled to see how it was, but they were shrouded in shadow.
"Hello?" she called, stepping forward. "Its ok, I'm here to help," she assured whoever it was. As she drew closer, the Innocent came into view. Large honey brown hues grew wide in utter disbelief. Shock gripped the witch in iron fists. Piper Halliwell stood rooted to the spot. For once in her life, she couldnt bring herself to believe her eyes. Fixing her with a piercing stare was a ghost from her past.
Fleeting memories of adolescent years flashed through her brain like a movie reel. Her body trembled slightly as her heart swelled from its quickened pace, and her head swam. Piper couldnt bear to tear her gaze away, for fear of what she saw would fade away and remain nothing but a shadowed memory, forever dwelling in the recesses of her thoughts. There was no doubt in her mind of who stood before her. Though many years had passed, beneath the older, more rugged exterior were the familiar dark eyes, the self-assured smirk.
The very air around them surged in recognition. But the triquetra inscribed into his right palm was the dead giveaway. A memory flooded her mind; a very young, very naive Piper, handing this boy a Blessed athame, also emblazoned with a triquetra on the handle. Engraved in a fine print on the blade, was the Blessing, "The Light to fight the Shadows...". And just like that, it was gone. He had gone. Disappeared from the face of the Earth, and her life.
Piper's voice caught in her throat as she struggled for words. Finally, her mouth formed the one she needed.
"Blake," she said in a shaky voice. The name sounded strange and foreign on her tongue. She had not heard or spoken of this boy in a very, very long time. It felt as though her heart were about to pound out of her chest, her pulse beating against her ears. This wasnt happening. It COULDNT be happening. Could it?
Another memory floated into her brain, of prepubescent times.
Piper had met Blake long ago, back at Magic School. Blake was sitting by the lake, brooding as usual. She had thought he seemed interesting, so she walked up and began talking to him. After some time, they became best friends. They had been through a lot together. Many battles. They had fought Demons, Essences, Witches, Gods, puberty...you name it, they fought it.
Eventually, Grams had named Blake the first and only Halliwell Guardian. She placed a triquetra on his palm as a mark of his position. It was his duty to protect Piper, her sisters, and all other Halliwells from then on. But for reasons she couldnt remember, he had left. She had given him an athame that she had Blessed, to help him fight whatever it was he was going to fight. But he never returned that day. Or the next. Or ever.
She was left alone and heartbroken. Piper knew in her heart that if he could have returned, he would have. Therefore she presumed him to be dead. Piper was consumed by grief and loss as she knelt in her living room alone, lighting three candles; one for his life, one for his death, and one so that his soul may find peace. As she watched the flames dance, his words echoed in her head, "Dont worry. I will ALWAYS be here to protect you...". Her notorious temper flared. She snuffed out the flames and threw the lighter across the room as she burst into tears. His promise was broken, scattered on the wind. A faded memory.
She was angry with him for a very long time. But she eventually hardened her heart and willed herself to move on. Which she did. Piper had opened up her own very successful night club called P3, she married an angel (literally) and was the mother of four beautiful children. She hadnt spoken of Blake since the day she Blessed his soul. Not even to her sisters or Leo. Seeing him now, standing before her, was completely unreal. She felt confused and tongue tied. He always did have a weird effect on her.
Piper watched him, her hands wringing. She wasnt sure if she wanted to hug him to her and never let go, or blow his ass to pieces for leaving her. She remembered his take on physical contact in the past, and opted for the latter. Anger swelled in her chest and tears sprung into her honey brown eyes as her fidgety hands shot forwards. An explosion sounded and sent Blake reeling backwards. Piper had never been able to blow him up, but she was known for knocking him back into next week. Also, Piper had grown. And so had her powers.
"BASTARD! How could you DO that to me?!" she demanded, taking a step toward the fallen Immortal. "How COULD you leave me like that?! You were my GUARDIAN! You were SUPPOSED to be my best friend! And you LEFT me! No real clue as to WHERE you were going! And you never came back! I thought you were DEAD! How COULD you?!" she repeated through sobs. She raised her hands as if to assault him again, but sank to her knees, her long dark tresses falling in her face.
Apparently Piper's little outburst had alerted more Demons. Five more shimmered into the chamber, fireballs raised. The distressed witch looked up, tear streaks glinting in the fire light. "Not NOW!" she screamed, flexing her hands at the assailants. The five men exploded in flames and smoke as if they were nothing. Piper was silent now, her body shaking from quieted sobs. Her mind was racing a mile a minute. She felt like she was Orbing; floating through the cosmos, not quite whole. She stared straight ahead, at nothing in particular. "How...could you..." she whispered.

Blake looked her up, and down, not knowing exactly who she was, "And you are...?" he asked, not knowing if she was good or evil, she smelled like a human, but something about her was strange. He got up slowly, not knowing why she did it, he drew back the iron pipe, ready to strike if he had to, "Who the hell are you?", he asked, looking at her hands, then her face, thinking to himself, "Damn humans, dont even know why they come down here, its only going to get them killed", he then sighed.
Blake didnt know what to say, so he turned, and began walking off, "I dont need your help", he said, it was bad enough to be stuck in the underworld for five years, but being face to face with a human, it was unreal for him, he hadnt seen, or heard from a human for so long, it seemed like a distant memory to him, as he turned the corner, a guard charged him, but he easily took him down, smashing the pipe into his skull, crushing it on impact, "Serves you right", Blake said aloud, then began running down the dark tunnel, not knowing where he might end up at.

"And you are...?"
She jumped, looking up at him when he spoke. Was he serious? Did he for real not recognize her? She shook that off, giving him the benefit of the doubt. She was much older. Much stronger. He was trapped down here so long, he'd probably forgotten a lot about Earth.
"Who the hell are you?"
He was now wielding some sort of pipe. As if he would hurt her. As if she couldnt just freeze him in his tracks. And if not, she could at least freeze the pipe. Of that she was positive. She pushed herself onto her feet, brushing the dirt from her knees and pushing her hair away from her face once more. 20 years and she still managed to forget a hair tie when doing battle. She opened her mouth to speak, but once again he was talking.
"Damn humans, dont even know why they come down here, its only going to get them killed"
He was walking away, apparently annoyed. Her own annoyance tolerance was running thin as well. First he didnt recognize her, then he thought her an Innocent?! Anger flashed in her honey brown eyes as she paced after him.
"I'm NOT just a human!" she called. She stopped short, hearing a sharp crack followed by a thump. He had disappeared into the darkness so she wasnt sure of what exactly had happened. Fear gripped her as she surged forward. Blake was gone, but lying on the floor was a Demon guard. His skull had been crushed. Blake always did leave a nasty trail. She rolled her eyes, motioning at the Demon. A second later he exploded, leaving no trace behind.
"Mere mortal my ass," she muttered to herself. Once again brushing her long dark hair behind her, she took off after the Immortal.

He ran down the tunnel, coming to an entrance that resembled what appeared to be a storage room, "Wonder whats in here", he said, then kicked the door twice, knocking it off of its hinges, "How pathetic", he thougt, then began searching through the piles, apon piles of items, finaly coming across what he had been looking for, "Finaly, I found it", he said, then began strapping on the holsters for his guns. He looked around some more, coming across his sword, it glittered in the lamp from the desk on his right, the words, "Not sacrifice, not victory", encrusted in it, hearing the door open behind him, he whirled around, slicing off a demons head, then saw that more guards were coming, "Oh, shit!", he shouted, then took off running down the tunnel, hoping he would come across somthing, but he was wrong, it was a dead end. After having two fireballs thrown at him, he turned around, ready to fight, when out of nowheres a fireball smacked into his face, knocking him backwards, his mind going blank.
"So im her guardian?", He asked, looking from Grams, then to Piper. "Yes, and you'll make a very good one", she told him, then faded away. He looked over at Piper, and smiled, "Lets get going", he said, then they began to walk onward.
He stood up, looking at the demons, "YOU WANT SOME!!", He screamed, charging at him, slicing through the first one, then turned, facing the others, a smirk on his face, "Whose next!", with saying that, they all began to run off. "Serves you right!", he said, then continued running.

"Serves you right!"
Down the hall she heard someone yell, and then several crashes. Her heart lurched. But she continued running down the corridor. It was getting progressively darker and much harder to see. The tip of her boot caught in a crack in the floor and she flew forward, smacking against something hard.

She had begun to push herself upwards, then felt a warm hand latch onto her leg, sending chills down her spine. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end and goosebumps erupted on her arms. A rough voice spoke.
"Whose there!"

"Oh, so NOW you remember me. Well, it was a spell. Maybe I can re-work the 'to find a lost witch spell' to get us home..." she murmured.

"I just had a fireball thrown at my face", he said, his annoyance of her wasnt as big as it use to be, besides she had grown on him as a near sister, "Well anyways, work your magic, so we can leave"
