He looked over at her not saying anything as he looked her in the eyes.
" Not really sure..because i have a funny feeling that there maybe a double cross in future...maybe not now..maybe not tommorow..maybe next week..but i fell this is just the beginning...she said my brother is alive...you have no idea what my brother was like..if he was as fierce as he was as a young adult..you can't imagine a demon like him as a adult..a grown man at that.."
He sighed.
" I have no other choice if we're ever going to live..a decent life together...magic-free.."

"I have no other choice if we're ever going to live...a decent life together...magic-free..."
Anna arched an eyebrow in his direction. She didnt understand a word he said sometimes. He often went into these little dramatic tangents that didnt make any sense, at least not to her. But she brushed it off.
"Hun, not everything has to be so dramatic all the time. No one is more powerful than Zankou and we can handle HIM. I think we're safe against your brother, no matter how powerful he is. You dont seem to realize that there are over a dozen powerful witches living under one roof. We'll be fine, I promise," she said as she syphoned the dark blue liquid into a glass she pulled from the cabinet.
She exhaled before handing him the glass.
"As long as you're sure..." she murmured, watching him intently with large brown eyes.

He took the glass and looked at her.
" I better be getting something out of this...a decent life better be in my future and some respect from the higher powers.." he pointed up with his pointer finger of his free left hand and than pressed his lips up against the rim of the glass and than moved it away from his mouth.
He sighs than closes his eyes puts it back up against his lips as he finally tilts it towards his lips as they part and he downs the drink.
He looked at her.
" So this binding potion never comes in a soda or creme flavor..ahh..that tastes like ass!"

"So this binding potion never comes in a soda or creme flavor...ahh...that tastes like ass!"
She cringed and stifled a giggle.
"Sorry, potions are never great smelling or tasting. I could have added citrus but that would have diluted the yarrow root and would have screwed over the whole potion. Sorry," she said, pulling him down to kiss his cheek.
"How do you feel?"

He gave her a kiss on the cheek and than held his hand out to try to form a energy ball.
" I feel....more human than i've ever felt...so my soul doesn't come with this does it?".
He cracked a smirk.

"I feel....more human than i've ever felt...so my soul doesn't come with this does it?"
"No...the potion doesnt give you anything you didnt have before...except mortality," she murmured softly.
A thought had just occured to her. He no longer had powers, and never had a soul. So, did that mean that he didnt really care for her? They had a very...lustful relationship to say the least. Most Evil beings were that way. They were driven by their empty void where their soul should be, desperate to satisfy that hunger to fill it.
Now that he was human, and had no soul, what would happen? A being without a soul could not love, at least not on a deeper level than pure shallowness of looks. Anna felt a pang in her heart and her stomach churned. That natural allure he once had was gone. So was her theory right? Or was it his Evilness and bad reputation that attracted her all along? Did she really love him? She needed to know. And she knew just how to find out.
"Carnell...I...have something to do...upstairs...I'll be...right back," she said awkwardly, backing up towards the door and quickly turning on her heel and bolting from the kitchen.
She had to get away from him, at least for a little while. Being in the same room as him was suffocating her; not in the sense that it always had. It was a different asfixiation. Like the unknown was closing in on her. Soon, she'd dashed up the stairs and was rounding the corner to fly up the second staircase into the attic.

He looked at the kitchen entryway as he arched his eyebrow as he looked at her.
" Baby?!"
He was wondered she never seemed nervous like that towards him before or seemed to be in hurry unless it was to kill a demon or something.
He said to himself.
" it gives me mortality but does it give me a soul...i gotta call in a favor..the last favor i have left..the only favor I have left.."
He thought to himself.
I need the help of love and someone who doesn't want to see me right now...my baby sister..
